The existing office space was renovated to provide a more current upscale space that conveyed the architect's vision to provide more natural light, great views of the city, enhanced architectural details and materials and to create an overall space that helps to create an environment that assists in attracting and retaining current and future employees. The new workstations are height adjustable to help create a more ergonomic capability. Many of the conference rooms offer flexible mobile tables to accomodate the changing needs of the Client. Client Project: Our Client contacted IFS for the need to refresh their 13 year-old workstations. The old stations were tile and metal frame with fabric tiles attached. We re-designed the space to be more efficient and to enhance worker productivity. The result are workstations and private offices that provide height adjustable worksurfaces, storage pieces that are more condusive to paper and article management. An easy solution was to incorporate glass dividers that were installed on the top of the metal frames adding an additional barrier between adjoining workers. Client Project: IFS was contacted by the Club General Manager to consult on their upcoming Cafe renovation. We generated multiple concepts and the Club Board selected the one shown here. The updated furnishings create a warm inviting environment allowing members to dine longer and visit the Cafe in a more relaxed fashion. IFS blended durable wood veneer tables manufacturered especially for hospitality environements along with durable wood framed dining chairs with faux leather seat fabrics. The lounge area was designed to offer a "Club" feel with the flexibility of mobile lounge pieces to be utilized when larger groups come to relax. Great job and a great DC Club!

Current tables were laminate and it was deemed to upgrade to a more current solution. After evaluating several manufacturers, mobile tables with electric and IT plug-in and ganging capabilities were selected. The collection of conference room furniture also included shelving, buffet credenza and upgrade markerboard with veneer case. The custom stain on veneer offered an executive look for this multi-use room!
